Having volunteered at local schools, local and neighborhood organizations, and sports clubs the boys learned volunteerism through example, in the Boy Scouts and through their religious education. As boys, Eli, Samuel and Jacob attended Walnut Grove Elementary, Grassland Middle and Franklin High School. They each went on to attend state universities, each also obtaining a postgraduate degree. (I’m a very proud mother.) All this strengthened our connection and commitment to our neighbors in Franklin.
